About
The Northeastern Puma Project is a grassroots initiative that works with stakeholders to reintroduce pumas (Puma concolor, also known as “panther”, “mountain lion”, “cougar”, and “catamount”) to their historic range in the northeastern United States. Grounded in science and with a compassionate ear, we listen, speak, and advance ecosystem restoration to include keystone species that were eradicated during the colonial era and westward expansion of the United States.
